Amit is a first-generation entrepreneur with an MBA from MDI, Gurugram, and over two decades of leadership experience across global banks and business institutions. For the past 14 years, he has provided bespoke advisory services to prominent corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices, leveraging deep expertise in structured solutions, business development, and global market investments. Amit serves on the boards of several companies, family offices, and investment advisory committees, and is the architect behind the setup, philosophy, and design of TruePenny Capital Funds.

At TruePenny, Amit leads the fund's strategic direction, overseeing global macro positioning, asset allocation, and risk architecture. His investment approach is grounded in a rigorous understanding of macroeconomic cycles, cross-asset dynamics, and geopolitical risk — translating complex market signals into disciplined, high-conviction portfolio decisions. He balances capital preservation with asymmetric return opportunities, maintaining a clear-eyed view of risk across evolving market regimes.

Chirag Barchha brings a strong analytical foundation and a deep derivatives background to TruePenny Capital Funds. With experience spanning equity research, quantitative modelling, options strategy design, and portfolio execution, he has built a track record of identifying high-conviction opportunities across global markets. An alumnus of Khandwala Securities, Chirag has worked extensively on delta-hedging frameworks, volatility structures, and systematic derivatives deployment, particularly across U.S. indices and precious metals. His approach blends disciplined risk management with structured strategy development, making him a key pillar of the fund’s trading architecture.

At TruePenny Caps, Chirag leads the derivatives desk—where he more or less treats market screens as living, breathing organisms. Colleagues claim he eats options for breakfast, hedges for lunch, and studies volatility smiles for dinner. Between designing new trading models, stress-testing ideas, and refining our delta-neutral frameworks, Chirag keeps the fund’s derivatives engine running with equal parts science, instinct, and humour. If there’s a market inefficiency hiding somewhere, chances are he’s already spotted it, priced it, and hedged it.

A seasoned trader to the core, Lijin lives, breathes and sleeps the markets. Mentored by some of India’s finest traders and groomed under a top hedge fund manager, he has developed a razor-sharp instinct for risk — the driving force behind TruePenny Funds’ robust risk management framework. Outside of building trading models, he can be found immersed in charts, dissecting every clue the indices offer.

Beyond trading, Lijin brings over eight years of Big Four experience across Tax Consulting, Corporate Finance, and Equity Portfolio Management. He understands the full investment process—from value, growth, momentum, and factor investing to solid fundamental research—and reads fixed-income, bond, and equity markets faster than most people can find the calculator app. Skilled in equities, securities, derivatives, and momentum trading, his expertise spans investment analysis, risk management, and financial markets.
